We are asking all parents to follow these recommendations:
• I should have my child(ren) use the restroom and wash their hands at home, before arriving at Gymnastics World.
• I will drop my child(ren) off and pick them up at the gym's designated doors.
• Only one parent or non-participating individual will be allowed to enter the building at the main entrance while my child(ren) is checking in.
• Upon check-in, my child(ren's) will be required to sanitize hands and take off shoes
• Per state guidelines and Gymnastics World high standards, Gymnastics World will check my gymnasts' temperature prior to practices. Should they register a temperature of 100.4 degrees or higher, they will not be able to participate that day.
• I will drop off my child(ren) on time and understand they will not be permitted to enter the facility 10 minutes past their start time.
• My contact information must be up to date, and that I remain reachable while my child is attending practice.
• My child(ren) cannot leave any personal belongings in the gym, including shoes, non-gymnastics clothes, and jackets. I will limit the number of items brought into the gym.
• Practice schedule has been adjusted and staggered to ensure a safe entrance and exit from the gym and to allow for cleaning between each class period. Punctuality for drop-off and pick-up is vital.
• Child(ren) will report to their designated warm-up area once inside the building.
• My child(ren) will have frequent opportunities to sanitize/wash their hands while inside the facility.
• I will keep my child(ren) home if they or anyone in my family is coughing, has a temperature over 99.5, or other Covid-19 symptoms.
• I will have my child(ren) wash hands and feet thoroughly upon arriving back home. Clean their bag upon arriving home, and again before bringing it back to the gym.
• I understand that all Gymnastics World's staff members will make a strong effort to socially distance, but that due to the nature of the sport, there will be times that contact or less than prescribed physical distancing will occur.
• Spotting is sometimes necessary for safety and to prevent injury. Practice plans will be adjusted to minimize the need for spotting.
• I am allowing my child to participate at Gymnastics World, knowing that it is impossible to keep them, myself, or any other individual inside the gym completely safe from COVID-19 exposure.
• These procedures will evolve and change over time, and that I will follow any new standards required by the state and local government, and by Gymnastics World.
